In these times ,we have to be very strong and patient. The unexpected is coming at us from all directions.Things are not as we thought they would be. We are never completely on target. For we are selfish in our ways..and the Universe cares for all. The letting go of someone we care for or a situation we know we must move on from,is a time when we have to remain clear, strong and calm. Our invocation should be sincere …authentic in its intent. We stand in silence and we bow our heads in honor. The past says goodbye…and we understand.
In these times,we have to learn to accept more than we have ever had to before. We have to see things as they are. We have to clear out the fear that has, in the past, blinded us to the present truth. The past says goodbye. We have to let go of it. And we will.
The present moments that present them selves to us, are so different from what we have known before. We are waking up to a whole new ball game. The energies that are raining down on us all, show us a new way of seeing. They show us a new way to approach someone or a situation. They free us to discover something in side of ourselves that we did not know. Now we understand. Now we accept. And now we move on.

The smile is a very important feature of the human face. But because of human intelligence, even that good part of human nature can be used in the wrong way, such as sarcastic or diplomatic smiles, which only serve to create suspicion. I feel that a genuine, affectionate smile is very important in our day to day lives. How one creates that smile largely depends on ones attitude. It is illogical to expect smiles from others if one does not smile oneself. Therefore, one can see that many things depend on ones own behavior.

Conceptions of good and bad are all mental speculations. Therefore it is erroneous to say 'this is good' and 'this is bad'.

You have to take seriously the notion that understanding the universe is your responsibility, because the only understanding of the universe that will be useful to you is your own understanding.

26.

We have to create culture, don't watch TV, don't read magazines, don't even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you're worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are dis-empowered, you're giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have hips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told 'no', we're unimportant, we're peripheral. 'Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.' And then you're a player, you don't even want to play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that's being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life.

23.

The word 'happiness' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.
